Designated Bow: 'Tines'
« on: November 22, 2007, 05:07:00 PM »
I committed this 60 inch - 64#@28 Thunderstick MOAB to taking a big buck.  I have been taking this bow exclusively here in GA for 2 seasons hoping to get a nice buck with it.  The lams are Tamo Ash, and the colors of the limbs represent the many colors of the tines we chase.  And did I ever take a nice buck with it!...a 140 class 260# bruiser ten point.  Bout as pretty as they come......

Thats a sweet buck! I love those Thundersticks! Jim lives about 1/2 hour from me. I had a T-Mag two years ago and wished I still had it.
Just one more step please!

Holy cow!!. . . or should I say buck!  Man, that is a beautiful animal.  That second photo by the water just says it all.  Congratulations!!
I believe we choose the stick and string because extreme efforts and obstacles can and should be used to raise personal achievements to new heights and deeper meanings.

Chris.....they are home made guillie beret.....I've thought about making one and auctioning it off on the next St Judes Auction.

Contrary to the silliness of it all, they do work well....when you look down I have it arranged so that you are looking through the 'leaves', and it camos your eyes, but the left side is always clear for a shot when you're ready.

OR, you could make them and sell em. Then donate the money to St. Judes. Good cause though. Ill keep an eye out.

Happy Holidays.
