Yeah John! That's great....I think I can bring it in with sanding that spot. It's a great visual aid too!

Well, I sanded the lower limb in the area that J.Skifres suggested first and gave the bow some exercise, then an overall light sanding with 180 grit on that limb then checked my tiller. It shows 1/8-3/16" positive just as Wingnut suggested! I'm happy, so I polished her with 180-220grit and am now in the process of applying the leather rest. I may or not put on a leather grip...the Cocobolo looks too purty to cover. I guess the finished rest will determine what happens there. Overall finish will likely be tru-oil with a dulling finish of poly.
