TRYING OUT BOWS AT KZOO
« on: January 18, 2008, 06:55:00 PM »
Which bows are you planning to try out at KZOO? I
am planning on trying out a MORRISON SHAWNEE and a A&H ADCOCK while I am there. I was wondering what anyone else was planning on trying out there.
THANKS  BOB

I'm chagrined that I can't make it this year. I shoot every bowyer's bow there , when I do go. Some bowyers that are friends of mne that have bows that are heavy over 65# ask me to shoot them and evaluate them for them too.

Most bow dealers will have arrows, tab and bracer for tryers to use, but you will get a better test and comparison if you bring your own.

My first couple years I tried to shoot every bow there - can't be done but its fun to try. Have not seen Adcock bows there, maybe one or two around but not as a vendor. Planning to shoot some HH style bows and see if I can try a Morrison without buying one, could be tough. Hoping to see some other D style longbows, maybe Ron King will be there again (Fox archery) And visit with lots of my trad friends. Only a week away!
