CabinFever Longbowmania...
« on: January 19, 2008, 09:33:00 PM »
Its a little chilly up in ND now, and I have some serious "lounge time" ahead of me it seems...  I'd like to see some pics of fellow members longbows to help pass some time and stoke the fire for ideas on my next bow.  The more the merrier! - One piece, two piece, three piece...  Show 'em off guys!

Here is mine.  Made by Toelke.  After reading Dr. Asby's article in TBM I am going to sling Ash arrows with it soon.

I hope this was the kinda thing you were looking for.

Great stuff guys-
I would also like to see that Toelke without the arrows, that is near/on the top of my wishlist!
Tippit- that sure is a pretty riser on that Morrison.

Here is a close up on the riser. It is ebony.  The limbs have Hawaiian Koa veneers.

There are alot of really nice looking bows on here already...  but I know there are a few more lurking out there somewheres.
Doc, that two piece that looks like bocote on the bottom of page one is quite the specimen- what is it?  And how do you like the screw-in/bow bolt system?  I've never had one in hand or shot one.  Do you like them better than a three piece?

MORE BOWS!  It IS gettin a little warmer up here... but thats no need to quit on the thread  ;)
