Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.

Herb is an awesome guy. He built my 3 year old daughter a mini Pronghorn free of charge. He hand delivered it to her when he was passing through our little town.

I'm waiting on a 56" one piece. Should be ready in 3-4 weeks.

I found a Ferret 4 that I'm buying.

I still can't believe this one. The other day Sam Fadala stopped by and handed me a 60" 61#@28 Ferret 3! He told me it's mine to keep! There is another awesome guy right there!

I now own 3 Ferrets with a forth coming.
Two longbows with my third coming.
My wife has a longbow and my daughter has one now.

Herb's bows are great!

Anyone have an original Ferret one piece for sale? Herb says he only made around twenty of them. Ya I know, good luck on that.

Good find on the ferret. I love the one I have.

That is awesome that Sam gave you his. He is a great guy. That will be a bow to treasure.

I wish i could find a 60" ferret.

This bow is a treasure. If Sam and I draw javelena tags, this is the bow I will hunt with.

I had a 56" but i sold it cause the weight was too much for me. An awesome bow that had no hand shock and was as light as a feather. Wish i had another one.

I have owned a number of Herb's bows, and they are some of quietest and smoothest out there.   :scared:

Paul, bring that new toy to the 3-D in Black Diamond on Oct. 18-19, OK?  I'll even let you shoot my Black Widow again.   :biglaugh:

I need some advice. I shoot lights out with my 2 Black Widow recurves, but when I decided to move to a long bow I bought a Pronghorn at the recommendation of other tradgangers. It is beautiful, smooth, light and quiet, but I can't hit spit with it. I am all over the place. Is there a secret to gripping a Pronghorn? I decided to sell it several times but I keep giving myself and the bow 1 more chance, but this is about it! I like everything about the bow but the accuracy. Can anyone give me a few tips before I bid the bow farewell??? It is 62" and 55lbs.@28, right hand...Gray Actionwood, Elm and Bamboo.
Hoping to actually hunt with it but the game deserves better than me and the Pronghorn. Looking forward to some kind assistance...Thanks..Cotton

I dont hold mine like a recurve. I move my hand to the left ( R handed) so the bow is closer to the bottom of the thumb....PR
