First R/D bow for 2008
« on: January 20, 2008, 04:54:00 PM »
Last week I finished the first R/D bow I built this year. It has osage limbs under clear glass. The riser is made of osage and purple heart split by a mosaic stripe. An overlay of black glass, osage and purple heart finishes it off.
It has a pull of 35# @28" and is 62" long (ntn).

These arrows go with this bow.

Beautiful choice of woods. An unusual combination, but a stunning bow.

I've really like the purple heart since my ChekMate Falcon I got last year.  Only thing is the detail of the photos doesn't show off your great mosaic work.  NICE!

Here is a picture I took to get a somewhat better view of the mosaic stripe.
