I don't shoot paper ordinarily. I thought this was a great way to focus on form and concentration, so I jumped at the chance.
Then in the second week . . . the dreaded syndrome-that-must-not-be-named started whispering ever so faintly in my ear, for the first time ever. I tore down the paper and went back to shooting at haphazard distances and haphazard angles as I usually do. Felt better about myself after a few rounds of that. Went back to the paper for week three and stared the beast down.
I think I need to alternate between my usual regime and the paper at fixed distance regime to keep the beast at bay. Whether I continue to do the latter after week five is an open question right now. YMMV.
