manlaw compliance pics
« on: January 21, 2008, 08:24:00 PM »
Here are two bows I have been working on the past few months.
One is osage with rosewood dymondwood with my first attempt at a mosaic stripe. The limbs are osage over actionwood. Bears paw inlay and moose antler overlay. The tips are sheephorn.
The other is yellowheart with rosewood dymondwood. Limbs are bacote over actionwood. Deers head inlay and black glass overlay. The tips are deer antler.
Both bows are 58" long r/d. 43#@28"  I used the satin thunderbird epoxy and I absolutley love the finish. I haven't done a thing to it. Usually I can find a tiny blemish in the glass or finish or something that bugs me about my bows, but these two came out perfect 10's!  Thanks for looking! Mike
