Nice knives, Tippit and Rob. I'm partial to small knives, 2-3" blades w/ 3.5-4" handles, abour the size of Doug's caper, Although I like some other shapes. Larry
RU-- way cool small knives!

I've used a short drop point forever and had one custom made about 20 years ago. Full tang 7"OAL w/3" mirror stainless blade 1/4" thick at the top and hair shaving sharp. The short blades make easy work of everything I need done from skinning & caping to quartering. I agree with you, anything larger seems to get in the way. Robatto, Excellent Damascus skinner above!
