Show me your antler handle knives!
« on: March 02, 2008, 06:23:00 PM »
I'd like to see some pictures of some antler handle knives. I'm looking at making a patch knife with an antler handle and could use some ideas/suggestions.

Thanks!

Here's the first two I ever made.  Well, not counting the #9 wire knives (more like prison shanks) my friend and I made when we were kids.

Antler slabs are kinda fun cause you can make 'em asymmetrically Right or Left handed.  Here's what I mean in a rough forged one with a palm swell right handed antler...Doc

Nice piece of work there Rob - (Oh, where are those "deep pockets" when you need 'em? LOL) I predict that is gonna raise some serious bids when the time comes.

Dang, Rob that is N-I-C-E!  I will look to bid, but it will likely go outside my wallet range.
