Two for the swap
« on: March 04, 2008, 09:45:00 PM »
Ok, got a couple of knives finished for the swap, will probably try and get another done over the weekend.

Both were made from 1095 HC steel, heat treated, oil quenched and tempered.  The handles are canary wood, with brass pins.  Had a great time making them and am looking forward to making more and play around with styles and such.

The necker is 6" oal, 3 1/4" blade

The other is 9" oal, 4 3/4" blade

Comments and critiques are welcome and encouraged.

Very nice work!  :clapper:  Be careful, though.  Once you start, you can't stop!  :biglaugh:   I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.
