I'll let you know any day now.  I had Jim make a Thunderstick mag for me.  It oughta show up soon.

BobCo1965....I know what you mean.  I had Jim make a larger grip on mine.  I had him add a bit of heel to the grip to give me a bit more meat to hang on too.

Yup, that's probably what mine needed.

What was your reason for choosing the mag over the moab? What would be the differance between the two?

Do they have a website?  I have done numerous searches but just comes up blank.  I would be interesting in checking them out.

thunderstick archery he is a sponsor I believe.

BobCo 1965; I had a used one that had a small grip.  Gat Jim the serial number and asked to have about 1/8-1/4" all around, it came with a  bit of plam swell and I love it.

I made up some new arrows for my MOAB a few weeks ago and finally got to choronograph it with those arrows today. Right at 8 grains/pound. 6-shot average was 210 fps. I've never owned a recurve that fast at 8gpp.

Jim Reynolds is a sponsor here. Look at the top of the Pow Wow  page and click on the ThunderStick Archery Picture.

Chubber: It's a 64" MOAB. Jim usually only makes them up to 62", but with my long draw length he decided to make one a little bit longer.

Bayoulongbowman: It's 55# at 32".

I just bought one used.  Looking forward to taking her for a spin. Skinner

Heck, if the arrows I have with me fly decent out of it when I pick it up, I may even use it on my hog hunt next week.         :)

Has anyone shot the mag? I'm wondering how it compares with the moab.
