Cleaning up a Recurve.

Yesterday I was given a older Wing recurve. It's in good shape but needs some cleaning up.

The riser is in good shape and the finish good..the limbs could use some work!

Any help on getting this bow back to a presentable condition, I don't want to refinish the bow completely.  

Do most shoot off the shelf on these, or off rests?

Any way to date it?
