3rd one for the swap
« on: April 06, 2008, 06:34:00 PM »
Here is my 3d knife for the swap.  Polished this one up a bit more.  Next time I'm going to try some file work.  I'm fairly well pleased how this is going.  This is my third from scratch.

Very nice! I would not mind getting that one. Give us the specs.

Thanks guys, always had an interest in doing this.  Never realized how fun and addicting it is.

Ok now the specs:

1095hc steel, brass pins and not really sure of the wood, just some scraps that said make me into a handle.

7 1/2" OAL, 3 1/2" blade.

Thanks everyone for the compliments, of course I always can see room for improvement and what I should have done and what I'll change the next time.  I enjoy this, something to occupy the time, when the weather is not so good for slinging arrows.

But dang it gets expensive, saving my pennies (a lot of them) to move up from a 1"x30" to a 2"x72" belt sander with buffer from Grizzly's.
