3 for the swap
« on: April 16, 2008, 08:44:00 PM »
here are my contributions for the swap
i dont feel they are up to par with all the talent on this forum  but hey you gotta start somewhere

the roach belly is o-1 steel with redheart scales
the  dp with the green sheath is a buzz rig blade
with hickory scales
the second dp is o-1 also with redheart and hickory scales.
i also made the sheaths they were my first attempt at leather work
i also installed rare earth magnets in the
 sheaths

Nothing wrong with any of them! I would say they are winners wether they were your first three or your threehundreth.

I'm glad he finally finished those, now he'll have more time to coach through the rest of mine. I'm hoping to trade him shooting and bowfishing lessons for knife and sheath building lessons   :biglaugh:

Whoo hoo, I think that dp w/ the hickory handle has my name on it.  I really like that style. Nice work. Larry
