I went to a Northeast Cutlery Collectors Association show in Connecticut yesterday. Mainly factory knives and collectors but I did meet a couple bladesmiths and enjoyed myself.
But the big reason I went was because one of the bigger sellers of Mammoth Tooth Ivory was there. Besides the mammoth tooth, I also picked up some India Stage and sheep horn slabs. My wallet was a little thinner coming home  Doc.

Man, Doc, those are some sweet lookin goodies. After ooglin all that exotic stuff, you won't have much use for plain old wood anymore.

Tippit,
Is mammoth tooth tough to work?

Montauks, It is brittle and can crack easily before glue up...but grinds nice.
