Well, I got in this afternoon and had to crash for an hour or so. Worn out!

I have never had a more enjoyable show. You guys fron Tradgang just made my visit to Atlanta!

What a pleasure to get to meet Phillip Morris and his troop of young bow hunters. I hope we'll be able to visit more in years to come.

Ian Johnson. Now there's a young man who has his priorities in place. I want to see pictures after he hunts Africa. His Dad is a good knifemaker in his own right.

Ray Hammond and Dan Masson (OconeeDan) have become good friends in a matter of days. I look forward to sharing campfires with you guys. I saved the pictures yall posted.

Karl Anderson was my neighbor for the weekend. It was more fun than I can say. Kay and I really enjoyed the time we had. Plus I got to take a look at his knives, but I noticed he was making sure I was real careful.   :saywhat:

Starkman had a busy weekend too. He did a lot of knife shopping and picked up a couple of good ones.

I had a good show and bought some supplies and visited with friends when able to sneak away from my table. I appreciate you guys taking the time to come to my table and allowing me to get to know you. That was, by far, the best part of my stay in Atlanta. Lin

Lin, my dad said that your silver inlay knife was awesome!, I am gonna give inlay a try when I get better at making knives, you should do a how-to on that silver inlay, also, the guy from South Africa said I could bring my recurve and to start practicing at 20 meters

Ian, I may do that. Thanks. Bring me a shinbone off one of those antelope. They make interesting knife handles.

Dan and Ray, Did you see the guy wearing the skirt?     Lin

I missed that Lin...I hafta say I was doing too much looking ON the tables to see much of what was behind,in front of,or around them!!!!!

I hope we get to do some hunts together.

Lin, that guy wearing the skirt was shopping in the "fantasy knives" section!
He surely was not interested in the hunters or camp knives that you and Karl had, rest assured.

Sounds like you guys had a great time. I would love to make it one of these years but the show always falls on same dates as our spring fly in fishing trip.
Congrats Lin on your best of show.
Bob you have great taste in knives, those are a couple of beauties!

Doug, we tried, but Lin and Karl kept wiping them off with an oily rag.  Lin recommended using Ballistol for the really nasty fingerprints.

Thanks Dave. I hope you get to make it next year.

Doug, your knife was handled a lot. Folks always like Amber Stag.

Oh, that one.  Ray cleaned his fingernails with it.  No telling what he was picking when he got his fingernails dirty!
