Steve,

It was a real pleasure to "meet" you by phone.  I agree, the chance to make a new friend is a great side-benefit to the Elephant "program".  I hope tp get a chance to meet you in person, now, at Cloverdale this spring.

Hope you get some good out of the little cache of goodies.  Enjoy!

Got my "Elephant" today from James Stroope (4 Fletch). Awesome - he sent a DVD, a widow tab and some camoleaf tape (great for my treestand ladder). This has been a lot of fun & I echo the comments made by Hawkeye.

Thanks 4 Fletch!

Elephants probably have to go by parcel post, so they take a bit longer.  I'm sure the postal carriers don't like having to carry such big trunks.

Mine came yesterday from "H A Hggins". Herb sent me quite an assortment of things.  It started with a well written letter about himself and the items he sent.  There are assorted heads, Green Arrow comic books, one of Herb’s laminated birch “squirrel arrows”, a Case pocketknife, a Reparrow kit, an arrow holder, and last but NOT least some flies he tied himself.

I’ve been fighting a head cold the past few days and the package was a real pick-me-up, I think I might get out and shoot a bit today!

Thanks Herb!

I just received from Terry Folts a Ben Pearson Couger bow in excellent shape, 45#@28" and a Bear bow fishing spool. The cool thing about the bow is I have one just like it that my dad likes to shoot but the top limb is twisted. Now he has a bow to shoot with no built in excuses. Thanks Terry.

Kingstaken,  Can do.  Forgot to put the turkey feathers out.  My cat would have been in the picture.  His favorite toy.  Thanks again  Jeff

I really lucked out. I got a helle no. 99 knife kit, a great book, and a bag of Brian's mule deer jerky! It's good jerky too  :)  Thanks Brian for all the great stuff. I will have a blast making the knife. Now I  need to get to reading and figure out how to do it.
