I use fast drying poly for all of mine had no problems at all .If you have any cracks I use a high quality super glue before sealing it with poly just rub it all over the knife handle let it dry and hit it with some fine sandpaper then shoot the poly over it . dont get cheap super glue it will turn white and be a mess . I have done been through that ordeal   :knothead:

I just polish the stuff. If it's good enough for the deer, it's good enough for me!  :D

Seriously, it really doesn't need anything. I seal the porous core, if it's exposed, with CA glue. The outer shell I just polish.

Don't know how I missed this one.
Jason, I usually just whipe on a thin coat of CA glue or like Rob said they polish up real nice with a smigen of compound.
I reckon so

I lightly buff horn, antler or wood with white buffing compound. I use a loose buffing wheel it leaves a very fine layer of waxie film that is very tough.
Be carful though so you don't catch the handle in the buffing wheel.

Thanks guys. John I'll take your input here if you'd like since you know what it's for. I was thinking the CA glue to fill the pores anyway but just wanted some reassurance I wouldn't ruin the bone with it. Thanks SKippy
