pin holes

i am goin to try my luck at turning a file into a knife. can i use a hand drill to drill the hole after it is annealed for the pins?

good luck, i like working with files but the only thing that will drill the stuff is a drill press and carbide bit, unless you anneal it first
anything can happen on a texas friday night, if you dont mind your manners you dont mind a fight

ok changed the original i will be annealing them first

Yes, you can use a hand drill after annealing.  Have fun!
