My latest and most favored "big" knife" made for me by ML Knives, 8 9/16" blade, 14 3/4" over all length. Rawhide and braintan sheath. I named this one "Rib Tickler"      :eek:

This is a close up of one of the ones in the group picture above. This knife is made from an ATS34 billet 3'X 2 1/2"X 1/4". Obviously I did not use the entire billet on the knife as I believe it was around 14" or i5" overall.

here is mine;9" blade from a leaf spring,handle is Philippine ironwood locally known as "kamagong",differential edge temper.

Wow those are all super good work there guy's.I could save myself the trouble of walking out to my shop in the snow to take a pic of the first bowie I made.You guy's would fall out of your chairs laughing...bowdoc

Rick Dumas made this knife from a John Lonewolf 3 bar damascus...he took 3 separate bars of damascus and welded them together, then had Wei Lonewolf scrimshaw the hawk onto an elk antler.

This knife is very light in the hand for being 15"

Said it before....like big knives. But then I like all knives. Here's one I just finished 12.5" oal blade is 2" wide. Handle is epoxied and pinned.<><

Here's one by Steve Keeslar.  He still makes 'em but now he likes big bowies made for cutting competitions.

Lin, I have always likes that knife profile and handle shape.
