new ML clip point bowie
« on: September 14, 2008, 09:10:00 PM »
first let me tell ya that i am not a fan of a clean, shiny blade. i like forge marks, a little pattern or even leave the sledge on it. however the last time i went to visit my buddy Matt at Ml knives he had a clip point, horn handle with cross hatch that BLEW ME AWAY!! holy cow, not the typical knife that i like but this one reminds me of a gentlemans bowie, a river boat gambler or one ole Doc Holliday himself my pull if ya were to crawfish him at a card game. 9 1/4 oal, 4 1/2 inch clip point blade with 3 pure silver pins and a pure silver guard. handle is black horn, polished untill it glows with beautifull hatch work, ya got to see it to believe it. my best looking knife i own. i'm a little leary about wearing this one as i'm not sure if the handle will scratch easy. if ya know me i don't own a knife that i don't use hard and often. if it ends up that i think its just to handsome to use i'm sure it will end up as a gift but i'll see how it handles in the woods a few times first!  :readit:
