first finished knife out of my own shop
« on: November 03, 2008, 07:22:00 PM »
Here is my just completed utility hunter. It is 1084, about 3 inches in the cutting edge. The handle is black canvas micarta. It is only sanded out to 400 grit on the guard and handle because I don't have a buffer or any finer belts than that. The blade was hand rubbed to 600, then polished with 0000 steel wool. It is going to be my personal everyday user.

This knife is special to me, since it is the very first out of my own shop, and the first one with no adult supervision     :D
