Bowhunting October Whitetails III
« on: January 23, 2008, 07:03:00 PM »
Hey...wouldn't you like to see this video    .  Now all we have to do is convince Barry.  I think it would be great to have the original cast of characters from Bowhunting October Whitetails I doing the same video now that a few years have gone by...that would be great...

I agree!  Most videos nowadays are the same... Intro, here comes the deer, kill shot, recovery, next hunter.  There's more to the hunt than that, which is pretty much the definition of traditional bowhunting in my mind.

Any video that can show that, like BOW, belongs in my library.

I bought a combination DVD with both I and II on it and II shows up in the menu but doesn't play on my DVD player. I should have never gave my VHS copies away. III wiuldn't be a bad idea but I think They should do a DVD collection of their Scouting Boot Camps and a Companion DVD to Come November. just my two cents.

Thanks for all the kind words on our old productions. When a person views the originals nowadays they're a little embarrassing compared to the quality works put out today. But if you realize when these productions were filmed you'll realize they were way ahead of their time. I'm extremely proud of the fact (I'm told) they apparently changed some peoples lives forever to the positive. For those of you who received DVDs with both BOW I & II and the second half isn't on there, this is the very first time I've heard of this and obviously a defect. By all means, if you return them to me as defective I'd be more than happy to replace them free. Thanks. BW

What ever happened to Rick Blase????

I learned all I know from your early videos!
You are Mr Bowhunting to me.

Thanks

I had the problem with my I & II combo when I first played it. All that I did was go back to the main menu and it was there.

So, when can we expect number III!

The video I'd really like to get my hands on is the Instinctive Shooting video that Barry put out with Rick Blase. It was part of a series put out by whitetail visions, I think it cost less than 10 bucks and was better than anything I've seen since. I lent mine out and have been looking for another one for at least ten years.

Rick Blase is alive and well living in South Carolina. Gene Bidlespacher to my knowledge is still living in Montana. There are no plans for any sequels. Good productions take years to make. Speaking for myself, I presently have many irons already in the fire. Spreading myself any thinner would be bad for my weight. Thanks very much for the kind words though. BW

Barry, Just to let you know i saw Bowhunting I, when i first got into bowhunting at a young age. It was and still is the very best i have ever seen. I also have watched my copy of Instinctive shooting time and again and it is one of the reasons i went to shooting Trad. These videos are unparralled in there ability to showcase real hunting, and real people. Thank you so much for the enjoyment i get each time i watch them. God Bless.
