I'm another that is missing badly an Asbell era Bighorn.  Mine was the Colorado model, but had the more deluxe models limbs. (The originals broke)  Don't remember the specs, but something like 64" and 50+ @ 30".  Not the prettiest bow I've owned, and not even the best shooter, but it was my first traditional bow and I kick myslef for ever getting rid of it.

68# elk mountain recurve by Appalacian Archery.  Shot that bow a lot when I was in the Marine Corps.  Used to shoot against compound shooters in a league with it.

I had a Elberg Jaguar Special 60' long 60lbs hybrid longbow, custom made to my choice of woods and grip fit. It felt less than 55lbs. It was smooth and really smoked. Some "Michiganner  Used Bow Peddler" gave me what I paid for it brand new  (at the Kentucy Klassic in Nancy, KY). Wish I had it back.  :knothead:   Shot my first Trad harvest with it. If he reads this and still has it, contact me!!(fat chance!)  :knothead:

A 63# Wing C2 Metal handled takedown,62" long. I bought it in 1972,just after getting back from Vietnam. It was a gift to myself after finding out that my mom had given my Ben Pearson recurve to a cousin while I was gone.

Everyone who shot it would always comment they could shoot it better than any bow they had ever shot.  I traded it to a man for a pair of Zeiss binoculars--he wanted it that bad. I got the best of that deal, but wish I had`nt of done it,it was that good of a bow.   Bob

I sold a beautiful Schafer Silvertip last year to Stickbowslim that I wish I had back.  Don has agreed to sell back to me some day but I wish I'd not sold it in the first place.....

WOW Mike, I would have contemplated selling my first born before selling that Silvertip,  Just kidding of course but that's a beauty. Trap

75# Schafer Silvertip.
58" Charcoal Dymondwood with charcoal stained limbs and ivory tips.  Would give about anything to get it back.  Too cheap/broke to buy another one.

Here's a hint:  If you currently own a Schafer and are thinking of selling/trading it, DON'T DO IT!!!
