That's funny Brother Dean! Well I have to admit I have THREE. My 58" Kohannah Kurve[ I don't think I had it in the woods], my 58" Mahaska recurve, and my 62" 45# Turkey Creek.

Silvertip by Windauer. 60" and 55#@28". Walnut dymondwood riser with Russian olive limbs. I have a few other tips now but for some reason that bow was the "ONE"

A LH 64" Massie Longhorn, with bamboo limbs and ebony/bacote riser, 51# @ 27". Dumb dumb dumb. I search the classifieds for it all the time. What a stupid thing to do.

A Marriah Chinook I had, Ebony wood riser, Bloodwood limbs and Mastodon Ivory tip and riser overlays.  One of only two longbows that I was consistent with, and very unique to boot...Mike

Signed Bear Custom Kodiak Takedown from the first year that Bear started making them again in Gainesville. Fred picked a few of them out and signed them and they were special ordered as Signature Takedowns. Had the original sales receipt and sold it with a set of #1 and #3 limbs a few years back. DUMB ME!

My first ever Widow. Beautiful PSA that I let go in a moment of lack judgement.

What a painful thread (grin)!  I would sure love to have my old Martin MX-800 takedown back in my hands.  A few years ago, I sold it to someone in Europe and will never see it again (Oh, the pain).

I sold to someone that never used it or was worth the time to deal with, a Black Widow LAG T/D. Never should have sold that bow....

But I've had luck too. I bought back my PSA X Osage a few months back off the lad I sold it to.... Same price as well. I'll never sell another bow....EVER!

I really regret selling my Morrison Shawnee. I bought it second hand but it was my favorite bow. Would love to buy it back. Rich.

Me I've sold hundreds of different bows over the years. But thats what I was born to do.The most painful of them all!!!!!!!1945 Glenn StCharles static tip yew wood recurve (yes a static tip is a non-working recurve)with whale baleen on the back and belly. Both StCharles whale pictue decals intact and mint.Man that one hurts still bouts everyday....I got a lot of scares from beating my head on the work bench for that move, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.I used the dough to buy my first computer and camera..........bowdoc

A Northwind Gem Reverse handled Longbow. 60" amo amd 50# @ 27". Osage limbs with a Cocobolo riser and limb tips, black elk leather on the riser.

That bow was a little sweetheart. But alas I was tempted by a snakey osage number who turned my head yet again.

I'd be interested in getting the Gem back home!

My top 'wish I had it back' bow would have to be a Super Shrew Delux, 57#28", 58" gray actionwood with black grip/shelf, black and white micarta riser and tip overlays and a gloss finish.  It said PBS on it, I believe it was a donation/raffle bow by Ron L.  Pretty little bow, got it used, really liked it.

Then there was a Hill Big Five, 68", 53#@28", Ebony riser, tan leather straight grip, matte black glass over bamboo.  Sweet.

And a 63", 51# Green Mountain D-style longbow with Cherry limbs and Cocobola riser....

Come to think of it there's a number of bows I wouldn't mind owning again.  Goes to show there's no such thing as a Holy Grail bow.  Its all in what you make of what you have.
