Damascus GutHooks with Elk Antler

Here are a couple of guthook damascus knives with elk antler handles. They have rust colored liners and brass pins. The blades are from Brad Vice at Alabama Damascus. Love the black color and they are hollow ground. Blade is 3-1/4" and 8" OAL. Enjoy!

Man those are beautiful!! Any Idea what steels he used??  I have some bandsaw and packing strap damascus I made with some nickel silver that's randomly placed inside and it looks very similar.

Those are some great looking gut hooks. Not a big fan of them but these I really like.

Here is quote from his page about the steel.

"We use (4) layers of 5160 oil hardening high carbon,  (3) layers 203E low carbon nickel steel, (3) layers of 52100, and (3) layers of 15N20.  The steel is forged out and folded 5 times to give you 416 layers."
