New Years Bowie
« on: December 31, 2008, 03:53:00 PM »
Well i had off today and a half day yesterday. So I wanted to finish a Bowie I started. this is what i ended up with. Blade is L6(sawmill blade steel) 1/4" thick and 8.5" long oal is13.25". handle is IPE with two veneer burl spacers with wenge tucked in between and aged moose antler upfront. I like this one.thanks and happy New Year.<>< BTW Those numbers on the blade are from the sawblade...I really think, thats cool. I know it's weird LOL

Another beaut! Very nice, as always, Frank.
