New additions to the collection!
« on: January 12, 2009, 09:13:00 AM »
Here are some knives Doug Campbell just made for my dad and me. It is an early birthday gift for him and of course I was in need of a DC knife.

My dad will be along shortly to post some pics of my new Tippit knife as well as one I got from Bernie.

I am not the knife maker in my family but sure am a knife buyer! Anyway my dad has been doing leather for a couple months and then decided to try is hand at a knife or two. So I ended up with a great Osage skinner and sheath. I thought his leather work was good here but he has gotten even better since this was done.

Pic is a thumbnail just click to enlarge.

I should have put in there that they were thumbnails and just need to click to enlarge. Sorry about that. I just learned something new and wanted to give it a shot.

Oh man Chris, those are sweet.

Your dad is getting quite good at the leather. I have a couple of kid quivers he made here and he did a fine job on them!

Dan,

Do not worry about that I am headed back to Fort Benning, Land of Too Many Pigs! I will be sure to put blood on all these knives more sooner than later hopefully   :bigsmyl:

Plus hoping to make it on some trips this year and next so some of them will be traveling.

Also there is Skyler's cutter that I was fortunate enough to win, during last years St. Judes auction, that is still making it's rounds. So far it has been to Bear Quest II, up to Iron Bull's in Wyoming, Hog hunting with DW and Skyler, Solana Ranch, and it will soon be back down in Texas for the Pig Gig.

Man if that knife could talk!!!!

By the way Skyler if you read this I need a pic of the cutter at Solana if you have one?
