Bowhunters Den raffle
« on: February 03, 2007, 10:43:00 AM »
Hello fellow Tradgangers.

PBS is once again holding a fantastic fund raising raffle.  This year, instead of having a bow raffle, or a raffle for a hunt somewhere, PBS decided to try something different.  This year's raffle is called the Bowhunters Den raffle.
There are beaucoup items in the raffle.  There are numerous books by your favorite bowhunting authors, music CDs by some of your favorite bowhunting artists, several bowhunting DVD's, a John Rook kill arrow, a Monty Browning kill arrow, a St. Charles back quiver, a Jim Ellis rustic log table/lamp, a Jack Paluh print, an arrow display rack, a bow rack, many one-of-a-kind bowhunting related treasures, etc.
This prize package continues to grow!

There will be one winner of the entire package, a prize package that anyone who bowhunts would be proud to display in their den or trophy room.
For tickets, email me at:  [email protected]
Please include your mailing address and how many tickets you would like.
Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00
(For more information and a more detailed listing of the donated items, please see our website at: bowsite.com/pbs)

PBS owes a big debt of gratitude to Tradgang for allowing us to have this information available to you all.  The folks at Tradgang have always graciously assisted PBS in our endeavors and we sincerely appreciate it!  Thank you.

Also included as part of the prize package:  A big whitetail shed antler donated by Gene Wensel, a series of collector plates in a Wildlife/Whitetail deer theme donated by Russ and Dot Lantier, a signed print from Keith Appel of Alaska, a shadow box/artwork featuring Earl Hoyt (including a signed arrow) donated by Cliff Huntington...and the list goes on...

Let me describe the Hoyt shadow bow.

1. Signed[Earl Hoyt, Jr.] and dated[circa 1941] wooden arrow with a Case Korrek head.  I believe this arrow was one of several Joe St. Charles mentioned in an article in TBM.

2. Letter authenticating the arrow and story with it from Joe St. Charles on cool stationary with a sketch at the top from one of Maurice Thompson's old articles.

3. Joe St. Charles Pope and Young Business Card.

4. 8X10 b&w photo of Earl inscribed to me and signed.

5. All professional mounted[$200] in a vertical position.

This a real neat piece.  If someone wants to post a photo...email an address and I'll send it.

Kevin,
My tickets are on the way, might need some more if I don't spend too much at the TBM banquet.
Happy Trails,
Chad

Hello Kevin,

I beat you to it today!  Every day I get on here to bump this thread up and you've already done it - Good Job!

Thanks to Cliff and all who have donated.  Thanks to all who have purchased tickets.

I have seen some of these items and this is a really neat raffle.  I will need to build a bigger den should I be so lucky.

Thanks all...ttt

Easy now, not til March.

Duane, I beat you to it today!  I figured spending a little time here beats the heck out of shovelling snow, again.

Kevin,

I never have been accused of moving too fast....but I figured that shovelling won't help me much with the ice so here I am  :)

Congrats on the pending position, March is coming quick.

Is Bob still the main man for these raffle tickets?  I will have to buy a few more since you started this ad campaign.

Tickets for all...ttt

No Duane don't you buy any more tickets, the rest of us won't stand a chance. You are about the luckiest rascal I know.

Kevin we need to limit the amount of tickets Duane is allowed to buy. he he.
