my new knife
« on: January 16, 2009, 09:06:00 AM »
Hi guys. I have been busy between work, snow and the shop!
Here is a pic of a knife I goofed the stamp on, but decided to finish it out anyhow, so I would have a "nice knife" for myself.

It is 1084, amber stag carved bone with nickel silver pins and thong hole.
Cutting edge is 4.25", OAL is 8.75"

This one has been a big learning experience for me, and I am using what I learned to finish the same design for my father in law in Norway, except his will be a "letter opener"   ;)    :D  At least that is what the custom form will say!

That looks real nice.  Those stamps are sometimes difficult to hold straight.

If that doesn't just spell "handy" right there.  I really like that one.  Good job.  Chad
