Mixxer Truck Springs
« on: January 31, 2009, 10:08:00 AM »
Hay all.. Thanks for the help up front..

I drive a mixxer truck and the shop has several sets of leaf springs that are no longer useable on the trucks..

Are the springs of this size useable just like the car spring???????

Thanks again for all the help..

If it's a spring, it'll work. Are you talking concrete mixer? Must be a biggun. My favorite blades are from steel forged down from large stock. Lin

SPring stack is about 9 inches tall and is 5 inches wide. There are 10 or 11 springs in the stack.

So there will be more than alittle metal remove.

Thanks for the info Lin...

A 1x30" belt sander will make quick work of it...
