Knife posting policy
« on: February 09, 2009, 01:34:00 PM »
I am not a sponsor or associate sponsor but it seems I have been violating the rules with most every post I make. I do not sell my knives. I give them away. Should I stop posting? My intent is to help folks become more of the do-it-yourself types. I do not mean to profit in any way from what I post with the exception of a finding a wealth of new friends.

If you're not selling them or hinting of selling them, how are you violating rules?

Anyone can, and is encouraged to, post pics of the knives they make and of build alongs to help others.  Nothing wrong with that.

Maybe I’m missing something with your posts, but as long as you’re not secretly selling your knives on the side…
Before I became a sponsor I turned away half a dozen + requests for knives a week.  Now that I am a sponsor I still turn ‘em all away  ;)

I think Ron is wonder because in the Sponsor and Associate Sponsor thread at the top it says that those are the only ones allowed to post a build along. Not that I intend to speak for Ron! LOL! Keep it up Ron!
