« on: March 28, 2009, 06:20:00 PM »
let me start from the beginning. A friend shows up with his youngin and hands me a knife that I made for him and tells me he can not get it sharp, with a beer in his hand I knew what the problem really was.. So we head out to the shop and I start putting the edge back on. The hole time he is talking about his old buck and how they just dont make them like that any more.. LOL I am not saying a word as I finish I look at him and say wanta put your money where your mouth is on that old buck of yours hmm? With Lone Star on his breath he said why your on! I pick up a nice hard pecan log from the wood pile for the smoker and I chop nearly threw it. Hmm and a growl is all he said. I laid it on my arm and the hair jump off the arm. I got a one eyebrow raised from him then.
I stuck it in the vice, he took a big drink from his Lone Star and said now what you thinkin your going to do?

Well I showed him

I told his son get that good old Buck knife out here and lets see how she does!!!! Well lets say As for the buck knife lets just call it bad luck buck...
