Hattrick--All Around Inspired Knife
« on: March 31, 2009, 07:02:00 AM »
I got such a kick out of Hattrick's multi-purpose knife profile that I had to try to come up with a version.  His criteria was if I got it right:

1) Skin a deer with specific requirements for extracting the **tt hole

2) Slice and dice taters for camp dinner

3) Finally as a toe manicure implement  :scared:

He stated that he thought a larger blade would work well...but the 3rd requirement kinda goes against that reasoning if you want to have all your little piggies left   :D

OK so my version is a Small No Frills Drop Point Skinner to get at those tight nail areas.  It come with several yards of replacement para-cord handle material for odor control.  Para-cord is bright orange so everyone in camp knows were that dang knife is!  Forged this up yesterday without any file work to have to be cleaned. Temporarily left bronze tempering color as I figured it was appropriate.  Besides nobody in his right mind is going to use one of Lin's or Karl's beautiful bowies for all these tasks! Sorry Hattrick, I couldn't hold back, just funnin' ya...LOL tippit

I like it! What is the blade size?

All kinds of my customers use my knives to extract **tt holes!!
Bigger the **tt hole - the bigger the knife.
This is a really strange thread.

When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Nice knife Doc! But multi purpose means it's gotta fit B***holes of a bigger nature. Not everyone hunts squirrels and whitetails. goldtooth:
