The Re-birth of an Old Knife....
« on: April 06, 2009, 11:37:00 AM »
You guys might remember me posting pix of my old knife that was the first ever given to me as a child. It had been abused and taken very good care of in my taxidermy shop.
Well thanx to Sam Koger, "Koger" here on TG...the knife is now looking better than ever and will be very well taken care of from now on!

Before....

After...

Thank you so much buddy!!

Curt if you are real careful, that thing will shave you, my arm is still bare on the bottom where I tested it after it was done. Good Solingen carbon steel. If any of you guys need this type of work done, pm me, dont charge for it, just enclose return shipping, like to give back when I can. Will be laid up for several weeks, will give me something to do any questions, ask Curt for references.

That looks like a new knife. I really like those classic vintage knives. Lin
