Potential Test Knife #5
« on: May 02, 2009, 12:15:00 PM »
Well I've practically not seen anything but the inside of my shop for a while now but I'm gaining on these test knives for Atlanta. Can't even imagine what Lin's nerves are like, his knives certainly are tougher than mine.

Well anyway here's a dandy knife to protect you from those aggresive hogs and bears... Ten inches of 1084, 416SS Fittings and Snake Wood on the handle. Hope you and the Judges like it  ;)

You already know what I think - far as I can tell from the photo, that's the best of the "5".
You've got time to make three more!
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

I am sure the judges will like it.  When you can show close ups like that and get away with it, that shows attention to detail.  Close up photos show every flaw and have no mercy.

Wow, Doug...now that there is a HAWG knife I'd be proud to wear!!! I feel sure the judges will admire it too.

Good luck. I will be at the show from early admission through Saturday PM at least...can we meet up at some point?
