My "new" Horne Brush Bow (Pics)
« on: January 25, 2008, 09:51:00 AM »
Sorry for the delay...here's my new toy. 58" 51@28 Horne Brushbow from Goldenhawk.

She got the nickname "Redtail" while out on a bunny hunt with some friends on 2/21. The colors of the riser woods and the cedar veneers, and I "buzzed" two running rabbits during the hunt.

My groups have tightened up, I think the grip has helped. Although I still missed the real thing while hunting.

Thanks for the bow Leroy, even the wife likes it!

Rob, I dropped a few pounds in draw weight and the grip is way different than my Baraga.

The one thing I have noticed is with the shorter bow if my form is off or release is bad...it doesn't seem as forgiving.  But that could just be me too?

Had a draw length increase from trying to make my form better. The extra weight made it and all my other bows too heavy for me to shoot comfortably.
