I normally dont like this type of horn, but that is just beautiful. It looks like poured honey. I think the red liners add a lot to it too. Lin

It's supposed to have been honey horn...but it only had one spot that showed that gold tone to it right near the front, and then only showed where it got thin right near the front.

I would call it a " W " pattern..where the maker drills out sections of the bar as he is forging it?  Its a lot of layers...and the pattern is real subtle compared to some, but I like it a lot..and I use a lot of it.

I've also had very little honey in my honey horn. You're work looks fantastic though. Can you tell me exactly what you used to get such a great polish on the horn and what grain did you take it to before polish?

I only take it to 400 R H. I then use a 1 HP buffer with green compound, then clean with acetone.
