Antler and damascus drop point.
« on: August 24, 2009, 10:08:00 AM »
Here is one I just finished. Damascus drop point with stabilized and dyed whitetail antler. The spacer is buckeye burl and rust red spacer material with a brass guard. The blade is apprx 3-1/2" and OAL is between 8-1/2" and 9". Enjoy!

I've been browsing this knife section for the past week.  You put out some nice lookin stuff!  Often!  I'm jealous.

NICE KNIFE love those drop points.Made one my self today. I have a sawmill so I used some walnut I cut a year ago.Made the blade out of a buss saw blade. Would like to make one with a stag handle. HOW DID YOU ATTACH YOUR HANDLE?

Just make sure you cut some notches in the tang of the knife to give the epoxy better holding power. Devcon 2 ton epoxy is good also. Thanks for the compliment!
