Just thought I would ask has anyone made a knife out cable? I see old choker cable all over where they have logged.Blake

I know how tempting that is, but usually when guys make "cable damascus" it's easier to just buy new cable.
The old discarded stuff is full of dirt and grime and rust and grease, etc.
The new stuf is clean and about all you need to do is de-grease it.

When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.
