Mythical Parks Fairy
« on: January 04, 2010, 05:38:00 PM »
I would like to get some "real" quench so that I can get more serious about my knives and feel more confident that I produced the best knive I'm capable of.

I'm using 1084 right now as suggested for beginners but as most do I'm sure I'll venture into the realm of using different steels until I find one that I really like.

I would like to buy 5 gallons of Parks but cannot find any. Does this stuff really exist?   :)

If so where do I sign up so that someday my kids may receive the order?

I have posted this guy's email every time the subject has come up.
His name is Patriq.
He orders and ships once a month.

When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

You can use the contact link on the Parks/Heat Bath web site and ask for a local distributor. They will email you the name of the closest distributor to you. This is how I recently made a great area contact for quench oil.
