Lil Capeing Knife

My latest finished project.

I forged this blade at the ABS "Intro" school at Haywood CC in NC last June and finally finished it up!  7" OAL 3" blade, 1075 steel.  First time trying edge quench and etching.  I think I etched too long, if you look close you can see the Hamon.  I left some of the forge/hammer marks on the blade for effect and the etch created an interesting texture on the 1000 grit finish!

Maple burl scales a little file work and leather lined sheath.
