Got a source for bow form firehose other than Bingham's?
« on: January 26, 2008, 10:49:00 PM »
I like Bingham's, quite a bit actually, but am wondering if anyone else has a source for 1.5" inside diameter, rubber-reinforced lay-flat hose that is sold by the foot, rather than by the inch.  I'm looking for 6'.

Thanks Much,
Marc

Try your local fire house we just throw out a bunch. If theres a hole in it we have to take it out of service so you just have to find a section with no holes.

Marc,

There's aplace on Telegraph (~I96 maybe a little south) that sells fireman supplies. Might be a good place.

Yup, what GA said above...Your local FD should test it's hose once a year, and weed out the bad stuff!!!  Get your fittings/clamps/etc at the hardware store, and you're ready to make a bow!!
