Stick tang!
« on: March 29, 2010, 07:25:00 PM »
Hey Folks This is another rescued file, rescued brass finger guard, spacers and butt cap.
Butt cap has a pyrmid shaped point on it. It was a clamping strap that held a redwood 4"x4"
under water for about 20 years left the scale on the butt end to show former life.Yee Haw!
Handle also has epe and antler.
This was a very abitious task for Me and I had a BALL!
As always critic is appreciated and welcome.

I really like the handle it's colors complement each other very well.  The stamp work on the sheath looks awesome.  The blade seems a little on the small side for overall symetry of the handle to blade size.

Great work and another nice first.

nice work... especially on your guard...

I agree with Clay on the blade to handle ratio... and it also seems a bit skinny.

Nice touch with the butt cap...
