L'il Caper

Well, in between a full time job, a family, being a hog and turkey hunt outfitter, and having a tiny amount of time to make knives- I've completed one for a very patient TG'er who asked for something DIFFERENT for a change-a 3 finger, very functional damascus caper knife.

The handle material is unbelievably beautiful curly burly maple that was stabilized and dyed a chocolate color- my cruddy photography doesn't let you see how beautiful the handle is..

With knives like Lin's, Karl's, Brad, Doug, Rooster and others, I am a little embarrassed about my meager offering but here she is.

Ray,
That is a beautiful piece i dont think you should ever be worried about what kind of work your turning out because from where i sit i would be proud to own that one.

Form follows function Ray and that little feller has good form. I like it. You were right about that wood. It's just beautiful. Your leather work is outstanding too. Lin

Looks very nice Ray.  Glad you can fit in a little knife making in there somewhere.  I like the design.

Ray, that's far from meager!  That's dead sexy!  That's working art!  Very nice sheath too!
