tomahawk for the kids

i havent posted in a while
crazy work hours and shop time has almost been  non existant
i had to whip up something for the kids
so here another railroad spike hawk
7-1/4 poll to bit brushed black finish and straight grain ash handle
now to do the leather work

nice.

kevin.... did you hot slit your eye?  i've been having a helluva time with that.  i ended up just drilling and filing out a slot... but i'd like to get one punched out eventually.

Scott drill a small slit and then punch and drift it out.  Makes life a lot easier.  Good work for the kids on the hawk.

Hope I can afford one of the hawks that are going up for the kids.
