damascus knife

i am looking for a big damascus knife with a stag handle. it is my birthday in june and i want to find something for my parents to buy me. does anyone know of a blade smith that could make me one.

whatever you do, do not look on the st judes auction list. There is nothing to see there... just kidding. There is a very nice one, I just didn't want you bidding it out of my price range. But since it's your birthday... I won't drive the bid up too much if you really want it.

Basically it comes down to what you(your folks) are willing to spend. Figure that out and start searching the web for someone that does work you like in a price range that fits.  Ask a lot of questions, send pics of blades you like and have one built/created for you.  I am sure there are people on this site that are more than capable of crafting a knife of your design if you can work out a price and timeline.  Easy place to start is to PM the guys that are making blades you like right here.  

Oh, then post pics of your new knife after you get it.
