I have some bandsaw blade that's about 2" wide. I'm making a couple of small neck knives from them for some family members. I have them cut out but one has just the slightest warp along the length of the knive. I assume some bend from being a bandsaw blade. This stuff is pretty hard. The guy that gave it to me makes broadheads from it. Anyway, I'm really not wanting to anneal and reharden the steel, just sharpen as is. Could I clamp the warped blade and bend it back the other way (like was mentioned on here a while back) and run it through the oven at around 350 to take the warp out? I'm assuming this temp. wouldn't soften the steel but might be just enough to get the blade straight.
Thanks. Aaron
