I don't have any pictures but it was wonderful getting to meet Lin, Karl and Doug.  It was a real pleasure speaking with each of you.

Thanks John. It was great to meet you too. Lin

Conner,

Thass a fine gangsta lean, my brotha! ssssup, yo!?    :biglaugh:

You and Chase have grown unbelievably since I saw you last.  Amazing.

Sorry I didn't get to see all you guys - I ran in for an hour to get supplies then off to hog camp.

I couldn't even find Karl Anderson though I had his booth number....for us sometimers sufferers that row/booth numbering system left something to be desired for sure.

Sorry for the slow pics, I have been a road warrior this week.
I had a great time at the Blade Show, as usual.  Bought some handle material and a couple of tools I have been wanting.
Now for the pics...

Doug with one of his test knives

I was glad to meet Kevin (Rooster1)

Doug Campbell, myself, Karl Anderson, and Rob(Robtattoo)

Lovely Miss Kim, Connor, JC, Chase, Rob, myself, and Jeff (Tippit)
Hey, is this a cool clan or what?

Good point Kevin. The judges like to see "range" of the maker's skill. Lin

That San francisco dagger is tremendous - and I really like the originality you brought to tried and true designs

that's a great piece of sea cow in the long knife.

Ray, when I found out you had been there and didn't stop to see me, I'll admit, I got a little mad.

Doug,
Do you have a any single photos of your test knives? I would like to see the "S" guard bowie closer if you have one. Now that all of the dust has settled from the show, I want to handle that one especially. I bet you were in the running for the Peck Award. Lin

Thanks Lin, Terry Vandeventer and Wade Coulter both told me this one was just edged out by Michael Routh's mammoth ivory bowie. I looked at Michael's knife and it was a great knife. I'd loved for you to handle this knife but it went fast and now resides in Tulsa OK.

Thanks again everybody, building this set of knives was a great learning experience. Pushing yourself to do new and better work will really benefit anyone willing to try. Be patient, persistant and unafraid to try whatever interests you... Many times I've re-done things three or four times to get it to my liking.
